Giant Yellowfin Tuna Puerto Vallarta
by Pursue The Outdoors on November 30th, 2003 in Saltwater FishingHello fellow fishermen! Puerto Vallarta action has begun to heat up for 2005 as is usually does around this time of year. The boats are beggining to come home with the giant yellowfins. They just started about mid June but since then we have returned with a 312lber and several others in the 200lb range. Other boats have also been finding the tuna out at el banco and some have been picked up at corbetenia. The big marlin are also starting to show though not many have been landed yet. The sailfish are in abundance and the water is blue. If big tuna is a goal PV is the place to be. We are catching them daily on our 10 and 12 hour trips, so for those that read this report start eating your wheaties and plan a vacation to PV. I am expecting a great year on the giant yellowfin just by getting a glimpse of the way it has begun. Until next time, tight lines fishermen and women!
