This has provided for good numbers of birds. We are not hunting birds that have been human fed. This is the real deal not like many of the outfitters that guide Turkey hunts out of a blind next to the feeder. We work very hard knowing what areas to hunt as there is so much country here. Most everyone has a chance at taking a Tom But I have had many folks jump the gun and shoot to early. Got to let that Tom come in. We do good at knowing roost locations as will as use decoys and calls. To see that Tom coming is like calling a big Bull. We hunt private and Timber company lands. The location of the Klickitat area has Great habitat Oak and pine forest with south faced hills holding natural meadows. If you go ten miles east its desert twenty miles west its rain forest.
