Are you
interested in catching the enigmatic catfish? Don’t know where to start? Well,
here are some basic tips that will get you started. You will have to first
start with the fishing kit, which includes the fishing rod and the bait. Then,
you will have to check out few good places to catch the catfish. Before you set
off to catch the catfish, you will have to do a bit research on the catfish.
You will have to keep a good knowledge of the habitat, the feeding habits, the
breeding season and other relevant information.

The catfish
is found in abundance during nights and that is why you will have to start the
fishing expedition late in the evenings and continue right up to the late
night. As the catfish is easily alerted by sound, you will have to ensure that
you are very quiet during the fishing expedition. Do not direct your torch or
light toward the water either because catfish is very alert to light as well.

What is more,
a catfish is a bottom feeder, which means that it is usually found on the bed
of the water body. When you are fishing
for them, first go for the riverbed. However, you need to make sure that the
bait is not lying on the riverbed, but a little above it. If you are not having
any luck with the depth, try moving the bait a little higher. You can continue
doing that for some time until you are in luck.

When you
are on a boat, make sure that you select the best spot for fishing. You need to
select a spot that has less distractions and disturbances. Generally, it is
observed that the best of the best anglers take to the middle of the pond for a
big catch.

If you feel
that you are not getting the desired results in the middle of the pond, you
will have to change your position. However, do keep in mind that when you are
moving from one place to another, you must not agitate the water too much.
Before going for the fishing activity, you will have to be mentally prepared.
Some people have the tendency to throw off the fishing rod or something else into
the water in disgust. This will worsen the situation and you may not get a
single catfish.

Understanding
the eating habits of the catfish is also very important. For example, it is a
known fact that catfish like smelly baits. So, ensure that you have some smelly
bait in your fishing basket. Generally, when you are off to the fishing
expedition, you would carry a good stock of bait, but sometimes, you may run
out of it or you may even forget it. In any of the cases, you will have to act
fast and catch some small fish in the pond and then cut it into small pieces.
Each of these individual pieces can then be used as bait.

There is a
right hand rule that you need to follow when you are fishing for catfishes.
Always keep quiet and still. If you are running a cold or of you have lots of
cough due to a chest infection, make sure to postpone the fishing task. You
will have to go for fishing when you are in the best of health. Never worry too
much about the catch and just concentrate on the process of catching the
catfish. Moreover, take advice from experience anglers. If they tell you not to
fish cancel the trip. They can predict a lot, including the best times for
fishing. Lastly, if you learn the basics
and implement them during the fishing expedition, you will surely do the best
job.

I bought an Item here two months ago. I even contacted my Local dealer and got him to order it for me from the Manufacturer. It all came together very easy.

That was all to the good Now it came to yesterday. You know the present day time frame. Well being the klutz that I am. The Item I use on my bow. So guess what I did? I twisted the one breakable part and gee it BROKE.

I do believe most of you realize that you can break an item very quick and easy but to get the folks that made said item to fix it can sometimes be a wee bit of a problem, Well Not in this case. Not only were they more than happy to fix the item for me. Knowing how close my hunting trip was going to be in days. They have jumped up and come to the plate.

The folks at TAS who make the Sabo sight. Put the thing on a fast over nighter to me and almost instantly I am back in business. How can this be you say? Because these folks are Honest and have Integrity. Which is both Great and Helpful. This is what makes us all HIGH Honesty Integrity Great and Helpful.

I'm new to online social websites like this, so please bear with me. I've been hunting for just over a year and bagged several beaver and an antlered mule deer, although they were only forks, but they will be good for this fall's hunt.

That was a good beginning, but this year I want to bag a black bear or cinnamon bear and a mature buck, white-tailed or mule. I also want to get in Canada goose and duck hunting.

I've been watching a lot of TV hunting shows, such as Cabela's Living the Dream and found them very informative. My preference is rifle and shotgun hunting.

I welcome any input about my blog here and tips and strategies for the hunt.

My book (Alphasaurus Rax) is now written, published, and on Amazon.com. It has 16 short stories based on true experiences. Of course I've embellished them into pretty wild humor.
