Deer starting to grow their antlers

Was out hiking/scouting close to home and snapped a picture of a couple of bucks starting to grow their antlers. I'm going to keep an eye on them to see how they progress.

Guess I'de better get out with those mineral licks. With this rain here in central Oregon those muley deer and elk should have a good start for some nice antlers.

I was up about a mile from where I took the first picture in this post, and saw another nice, wide buck who should be a dandy. He was in the road and took off running so I didn't get a picture, but I plan on spending a lot of time in that area, so more pictures to follow.

WE were over east over Memorial and saw alot of bulls that were already 2-3 ft out. was good to see some of the bucks already growing, should be a good season for us!!!!!!
