Chuck Lamb lives on a remote Alaska homestead with his wife and sons. They live a subsistence lifestyle at least as much of one as can be done in today's world.
When they moved on to their homestead it was raw land, which they cleared, built their first home, and put in a large garden. Chuck makes a living guiding, running a remote trapline, and writing a few articles on homesteading & other outdoor skills.
Two years ago Chuck was appointed by the Secretary's of Interior and Agriculture to the Southcentral Regional Advisory Council to the Office of Subsistence Management. The advisory councils meet twice a year to hear testimony to assist the Office of Subsistence Management determine Customary & Traditional rights on federal lands in Alaska, advise on subsistence seasons & quotas, along with other relevant subsistence issues. My Profile
