Field Staff Profile: Jeremy Henricks

Jeremy Henricks was born in Springfield, Oregon, home of the McKenzie-style drift boat. At the age of 7, Jeremy moved to Virginia with his family, and during his teenage years, he peddled the backroads of the Virginia countryside near the Great Dismal Swamp with fishing pole in hand, catching everything from catfish to bass. At age 16, Jeremy returned to his home town in Springfield and began hunting the elusive blacktail deer.

Since then, Jeremy has pursued turkey, bear, antelope, elk, and other Western big game. He also enjoys slipping into a nearby river or lake for trout, steelhead, and salmon.

Since 2000, Jeremy has also run several successful fishing, hunting, and outdoor-related Web sites, including TheOutdoorLodge.com, which he sold to BigFishTackle.com in 2003, and the Henricks Outdoors Network, where he is currently the editor for Pursue The Outdoors and manages several other outdoor-related Web sites. Jeremy currently works full time in the Internet security industry.

Jeremy has also filmed various hunts throughout the Northwest, which have appeared nationally on the Broadside Adventures television show.
