Field Staff Profile: Seth Webb

Seth Webb is a senior at Western Oregon University and he will be finishing up his degree this spring. He calls Redmond, Oregon home, which is where he went to high school and still lives in the summer.

During the summer Seth works for the Oregon Department of Forestry as a wildland firefighter. His goal is to eventually work with the Forest Service or BLM. It has been a great experience going to school on the West side of the state, being exposed to different terrain and animals.

Seth enjoys tracking animals throughout the years as they go through their natural cycles between the rut and shedding their antlers. In the spring he is an avid shed hunting looking for ones ungulate trash just about every weekend. In the fall Seth is after the elusive mule deer and the majestic elk, whether its with a bow or rifle. As soon as that is over its off after the upland birds.

Seth grew up chasing chukars and quail all across central Oregon with his father and brother and it has stuck with him to this day.
