Live Call-in Show for Hunters Airs Saturday On “Kentucky Afield” TV

“Kentucky Afield” airs live on KET this Saturday night, November 3, for a special one-hour call-in show focusing on deer and other fall hunting seasons.

A panel of experts from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will join Host Tim Farmer to field phone calls from hunters across the state. Panelists will include Big Game Program Coordinator Tina Brunjes, Wild Turkey Biologist Steven Dobey and Waterfowl Biologist Mike Morton.

“We expect calls about everything,” Farmer says. “Everyone appreciates a little Q & A with the pros as they prepare for hunting season. Big game or small game, every subject is fair game this weekend. It’s no wonder why hunters love this time of year and why hunters love Kentucky.”

“Kentucky Afield” is a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. It is the longest continuously-running outdoor television show in the nation. The “Kentucky Afield” fall hunting call-in program airs Saturday at 8 p.m. Eastern /7 p.m. Central on KET 1. Check your local listings.
