Mosier is a good place, getting popular all the time. Alsea??? Thats interesting, do they have lots of birds near the coast? I know of a spot that held a few birds in a small valley, but access was not given. Trespassers were definitely arrested. Wanted to hunt there with my daughter, got permission but it wouldn't have been much of a hunt - so we passed.

I'm hunting Wisconsin. Went out scouting this eve. My season starts next Wednsday.
There really were not many birds out, but I managed to find a few...

One funny looking turkey

Wil Askew and I headed south near Roseburg, Oregon this past weekend to hunt and film.

I almost had this nice tom down, but was borrowing Wil's Benelli and didn't realize that the firing pin didn't engage. I squeezed the trigger, only to hear "CLICK".

We continued hunting and chasing birds, and even with the weather getting worse, Wil got this decent jake.
